PHOLSY wireless remote shutter intervalometer with LCD display for Nikon cameras supports TIMER CONTROL and four SHUTTER MODES.
The cameras DO have an intervalometer built in but it is very basic compared to the PHOLSY. If you are into astrophotography or others, being able to be a bit more granular and take longer exposures is necessary. At it’s basic functionality, you can use this timer remote for just a remote or wired shutter release.
Timer features:Delay (Self timer), Interval (Interval timer), Long (exposure timer), N (number of frames setting) and BKLN (Auto bracketing timed exposure setting for HDR, shutter release with instant, continuous 3, 5 or 7 shots).
Accurate to 0.1 second (00:00:00.1 – 99:59:59.9); N (number of frames): 1-199 or “–” unlimited
