Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

Q). What is included in the box?

A). Includes 1 nos. Mini UPS and Instruction manual. Please note: adapter is not included in the box (You can use existing charger/adapter)

Q). Is this miniUPS compatible with Air Fibre Devices?

A). Unfortunately, This miniUPS is not compatible with any AirFibre devices. Pls don’t purchase if you use AirFibre modem/routers.

Q). How to check if the UPS is compatible with my device (router/wifi/modem)?

A). IQMatic MiniUPS is compatible with all 12V devices up to 3 Amps. Kindly refer to your device specifications, mentioned on the back of the router/wifi or on the adapter/charger. Please use with 12V devices only.

Q). How much backup will I get during power cuts?

A). On a fully charged device, IQMatic will keep your device running for upto 4 hours, however the backup varies from modem/router to modem. Eg. If your device is 12V/0.5A, you can get upto 4 hrs backup. If device is 12V/1A, you can get upto 3 hrs of backup and if your device is 12V/2.5Amps, It can give upto 2.5hrs of backup.

Q). How much time does IQMatic MiniUPS take to recharge?

A). IQMatic takes 10Hrs to 12Hrs to get fully charged. The LED indicator will glow red while the IQMatic battery is charging and turn green once the battery is fully charged. Intelligent charging IC-based IQMatic draws only very small power from the adapter/charger while giving the maximum current to your router/modem to function properly. Note: Please charge IQMatic MiniUPS for at least 12 hrs at first-time use since the product has battery and cannot be charged fully before shipping.

Q). What is the function of On/Off slide switch?

A). Always keep the switch to “On” position while the device is in use to get the backup during power cut. If the switch is in “Off” position, device will still supply the power and charge the battery but will not switch to backup mode during power cuts.

Q). Is the battery user replaceable?

A). No, Battery replacement is not available. Rest assured, IQMactic MiniUPS comes with special EV grade long-life battery pack.
