Metapen Air 8 for iPad is especially suitable for iPad 2018 models or later. Does not work for older versions of iPad, nor with any version of iPhone, Android, and Microsoft devices.

4. My iPad is compatible with Air 8, why it doesn’t seem to work?

Before first use of Air 8, please charge it for 10 minutes and make sure the settings are right: 1. iOS system is updated to iOS 12.2 or above. Disconnect Apple Pencil. Go to Settings > Bluetooth > Find “Apple Pencil” to Forget This Device.

5. Can metapen Air 8 pull down control center?

NO. Air 8 can not pull the control center down, notification bar down or swipe up between apps. Neither do other active pencils including the original iPencil can.
