PROPER ALIGNMENT: Push the NVME SSD into the 12+16 Pin Adapter and 12+16 Pin Adapter into the slot (Proprietary SSD Port of the MacBook) and make sure that the cut at the rear of the NVME SSD is properly aligned with the screw port of the Proprietary SSD in the MacBook Logic Board.
READ & WRITE SPEED: There is no dissipation in Read & Write Speed of the NVME SSD that will be installed with this 12+16 Pin Adapter. The Adapter only changes the mapping of the NVME SSD and didn’t interfere with Read & Write Speed of the NVME SSD in any way.
